Donation to the Science Lab

The Green Island High Alumni of North America (GIHANA) in its continued efforts to provide meaningful contribution to the development of Green Island High School in the parish of Hanover, Jamaica W.I., has recently made a significant donation to the institution.
Last February 2009, GIHANA purchased four (4) steindorff Microscopes for the students and one (1) for the teachers. This purchase was made from Mel Sobel Microscopes Ltd. in the United States of America. A total of five (5) Microscopes along with supplies such as a single depression, double depression slides and one (1) case of prepared slides, were donated to Green Island High School for use in the Science Lab.

This donation will enhance the optimal performance of the students and teachers and ultimately achieve the desired results of the development of human capital.

As time progresses, GIHANA will ensure that further donations are made which can be beneficial to the entire school community.
